John Balboni, a leadership communications consultant, has some advice for CIO's and other corporate top guns with big ambitions: Keep you ego in check, and apply some "prudent'' management principles.
Among his recommendations are taking time to reflect before making critical decisions; considering whether the goal or outcome is achievable and sustainable; and knowing whether you have the team in place to make the changes happen.
