Laptop battery recall expands

The tally of recalled laptop batteries has hit the 7 million mark, with Toshiba announcing late last week it's pulling back 830,000 batteries alone. The debacle of the flaming battery just keeps getting worse for Sony which apparently is also in the middle of a reorganization effort, and is reportedly closing plants and cutting jobs.
