Key loggers as dangerous as phishers

While there's still a great deal of concern about the rising numbers in phishing attacks, a new security threat deserves as much attention--key logging by hackers hoping to grab confidential user information that will hopefully open the doors to financial accounts. One of the biggest incidents to date has taken place in Brazil where authorities nabbed more than 50 hackers who had stolen more than $4 million using keylogging software in emails to users. Though just as dangerous as phishing attempts, key logging is now viewed as more critical now that the Trojan programs that feed them are increasingly sophisticated.
