IT workers happier than ever

If your IT staff productivity is up, as is morale, it may be a reflection of a current trend in the workplace. According to a new study from Hudson, an IT staffing and outsourcing firm, IT workers are optimistic about their career and feel confident about their jobs. The firm claims that a low number of layoffs and good personal economics are the main reasons for the optimistic feeling. In the study, tech professionals, using a base scorecard of 100, rated job confidence at 115.8--the highest this year and up over six points from the October survey results.
