While IT professionals feel more confident these days about the future of their careers, there are still some issues and IT leaders would be smart to keep track of what they are to avoid losing talented staff. One is the growing interest in and dependence on offshoring and outsourcing IT work. Another is that there's been a slight drop in job content among techies and some are a little worried about the economy and personal finances. The best news for CIOs, though, is that even fewer IT professionals are looking to jump ship and aren't too worried about job layoffs and cutbacks.
