Developing faster networks is a quest for every telecom provider today, and while many are forging ahead on what's being termed 4G wireless connectivity, a number of pundits are dismissing the value of attaining such data transmission speed. 4G networks can transmit a billion bits of data per second. It's an amazing speed, but it comes with a high price tag--and analysts say there is no compelling reason to dole out more money for such speed given today's low-cost high speed bandwidth already in play.
