Intel readies new patch for buggy old patch

Ok, so Microsoft isn't the only vendor patching patches these days. Chip maker Intel is finding itself doing the same after a critical security patch for its Centrino line turned out to be a major memory glutton for PCs, hogging so much memory that it stalled systems. According to Intel, the patch, which was released earlier this month, has a bug in its Proset wireless connection software. While the new patch is due to be released today, other quick fixes are also available.
