Insourcing requires change management
Companies are instituting big changes in sourcing strategy as they pull back on outsourcing and reconsidering the option to insource. But with that comes the need to revamp strategy, rehaul internal staffing operations and revisit the economics that initially pushed the idea of handing off non-critical tech work. As one expert explains, don't rush into reversing any strategy until you've mapped out a methodology that lists out cost versus risk, and a strategy for deploying applications and implementing policies for processes.
