How to write a successful CIO blog
If you've been kicking around the idea of launching your own CIO blog, whether for internal communications purposes or as a way to share your knowledge globally with other IT professionals, don't jump into it just yet. As experts note, there are a few questions you need to ask and answer before launching that online diary. First, what is your primary reason for wanting to blog? Experts say a good blog has a clear focus. Then it's time to identify who you are writing for: your staff or to the IT industry as a whole. Finally, figure out how much time you have to blog on regular basis. Blogs, despite all the hype, don't have to be a daily journal.
