How to save your IT budget

You've been through your books time and time again, trying to figure out how to save a few IT dollars. Maybe you canceled the coffee service in the kitchen or imposed a furlough day or two on your IT staff. Maybe you've tightened your belt in more significant ways too, by delaying the purchase equipment or canceling modernization projects you thought you desperately needed.

It might be time to hire an outside company to audit expenses such as your phone bill. But you definitely will have a better handle on your business if you look at every item all the time. The advice from the experts is simple: Look at every single expense and figure out a way to save on each of them. Sometimes this is more effective than hitting one area of your budget hard.
