How a tech innovator was cultivated

Ameet Patel knows what it really means to drive IT innovation. The CTO at the Afcartha Group has made it happen at various companies including Chase and the JPMorgan Investment Bank's technology-advisory group. Just two years into his fledging IT career, he took on the job of an "emerging-technology analyst," tasked with evaluating whether his company at the time should make the leap to distributed computing. That was back in 1990 and he's stayed on that path of evaluating and implementing technology with a long range vision.
