Good hiring key to good network management
Network power, stability, performance, security and reliability all come down to two things: good network administrators and networking expertise. And pulling in those skills is directly tied to the hiring skills of the CIO and VP of IT. But the focus shouldn't be just on experience and skills, say experts, as today's networking team is likely going to be called on to help out away from the network and that skill versatility is crucial to a business's ability to be nimble and proactive. There are five good steps to take for building a solid network management team. The first is to map out the exact skills and professional experience you need, even if it means creating new roles and revamping current ones. And don't rush in the hiring effort.
