Gates' focus moves from PC to the user
In a nutshell, Microsoft is shifting its longtime approach of being PC-centric to being user-centric, and its chairman believes the key to making it happen is focusing on Web-mobility technologies. During a keynote speech at a Microsoft sponsored developers conference this week, Bill Gates also promised to spend more energy on boosting Internet Explorer and says his company is already working on two more versions past IE7, which is due out with Vista sometime later this year.
