Flaw fix in works for OpenOffice
Red Hat is issuing a patch that promises to fix the flaw recently discovered in the free OpenOffice.org productivity software. Cited by security experts as "highly critical," the vulnerability lets hackers build a malicious file in the Windows Metafile or Enhanced Metafile format. Once the file is opened, it initiates the running of unauthorized code, which, according to Red Hat, installs the file on the user's hard drive.
