Fidelity hires a new CIO

Fidelity Investments has raided Wall Street, at least when it comes to information technology. The giant investment firm has hired Daniel Petrozzo as its new CIO. He was formerly co-global chief information officer and head of enterprise infrastructure at Morgan Stanley. Fidelity also announced the hire of Ronald E. DePoalo, former managing director and CTO for Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, as CIO of Fidelity Institutional Products Group.
