Even Sony is recalling its own batteries
You can add Sony to the list of vendors dealing with the ongoing flammable battery issue. It was just announced that the company is recalling 60,000 laptop batteries, currently in use in Japan. Just a day or two earlier, another device manufacturer, Sharp, reported that it was recalling 28,000 battery packs.
