Even low-level malware is a security headache
I say this almost every day, yet it still warrants constant attention: hackers and spyware programmers are getting smarter and more sophisticated then ever. And now, even low-level malware is posing new dangers, according to security experts. In a recent report on the state of IT security, Alexander Gostev, senior virus analyst for Kaspersky Labs, notes that while low-level threats don't pack the same punch as more critical malware, increased numbers makes it a more pressing issue to contend with.
