Looking back and starting the new year on solid footing
There is no better way to end a year than on a positive note. Which is handy because that adjective perfectly describes the world of IT heading into 2007. So much happens during the year and we're constantly propelled forward with little time to look back at where we've been. That's why I believe that this final issue of the year is one of the most valuable, as it provides that much-needed perspective. Learning from the past and understanding what's spurring change are both necessary for meeting future expectations and attaining success. I hope you'll enjoy reading about the tech boo-boos, the notable quotables and what's expected in the new year. We'll be taking a brief break from publishing next week, but we'll be back on January 2nd to kick off the new year in CIO news.
