Most IT managers are very good at handling problems, one at a time. But hey, when it comes to different problems spread out over many domains, that's when the rubber meets the road. A new Forrester report by analyst Evelyn Hubbert recommends that managers must be able to handle issues across lines. "Even if you have a fully automated IT management, you still need a person that can comprehend dependencies and has the ability to see through the mess to identify and resolve problems that cause recurring incidents," Hubbert said.
