DHS spanked over cyber security efforts

The Department of Homeland Security is getting some criticism from both lawmakers and IT security trade organizations for failing to fulfill its promise to hire an assistant secretary for cyber security. In its defense, DHS leaders say they've been trying to hire the needed leader but it's been a tough go with talented candidates deciding to stay in the private sector. Some Congressional leaders are threatening to take over the hiring task.
