Dell spurns Intel, grabs AMD chips

In a shot that's being heard around the tech industry today, Dell has switched its chip allegiance from Intel to AMD with its latest fleet of new servers coming to market. While it had been widely rumored to happen, Dell had been steadily denying it was considering such a technology move.
