CTO puts DC on the tech map
Washington, D.C., is known for many things--from being the heart of U.S. government and politics to being a city that is in dire need of community resources to fight crime. What it's also going to be known for, soon, is the major technology strides it's been taking under CTO Suzanne Peck. Peck has rebuilt and revamped the city's technology infrastructure, plugged in a decision-support application that helps city leaders collect and assess agency data in real-time and created the first ever citywide broadband wireless public safety network.
