Cross-platform virus alarms experts
While it's being termed a low impact threat, a new virus that can infect Linux and Windows systems is getting significant attention from security experts, who view the proof-of-concept virus as a clear indicator that malware writers are now capable of pushing out threats that can hit multiple platforms. The virus, called Virus.Linux.Bi.a/Virus.Win32.Bi.a, only hits files in the current directory.
