C&L: Why CIOs Aren't Embracing Open Source


Depending on what you read, open source is either the end-all-be-all or the worst thing an enterprise can embrace. It's an interesting dynamic, given the increasing pressure on IT to deliver more with less as we head into a year of expected greater IT spend. As one CIO explains in a blog over at CIO Magazine, there are more than a few reasons why open source isn't getting recognition and respect from today's IT leaders.
