CIO expectations low on Microsoft going forward

If you go by the feedback of three IT leaders and their take on where or how Microsoft will fit into the enterprise come 2012, your first impression would be that today's most powerful software player has a lot of work to do if it plans to remain a competitive server and desktop player. From open-source requirements to moving ahead on service-oriented architectures, three CIOs are clearly not convinced that Microsoft will be the partner required to make the business run faster and more profitably down the road.
