Browser flaw hits IE and Firefox

Since its debut, Mozilla's Firefox browser has been deemed safer and more secure than Internet Explorer by many--but that doesn't mean it's free of vulnerabilities. Researchers have found an issue in the browser's password manager, which lets users store passwords and user names related to specific sites. The vulnerability could allow hackers access to passwords and other confidential information. Mozilla had admitted that the flaw exists, as has Microsoft, since the flaw also affects Internet Explorer. But neither vendor has yet to release a patch.
