Botnet hits UK spyware defenses hard
If U.S. tech leaders think fighting spam and malware is tough, their U.K. counterparts are also feeling the pain. A botnet enlisting the power of more than 100,000 desktops and PCs spewed out 250 spam emails recently in what experts say was a "crippling" attack on anti-spyware defenses at companies.
