Beware of the security enemy within
Keep an eye out for disgruntled employees. A new study finds that employees with an axe to grind are most likely to sabotage corporate systems. These employees' discontentment makes them relatively easy to spot--as long as you're keeping your eyes open. Other tip-offs are employees who habitually come in late, argue with colleagues and perform poorly. The study also noted that nearly 90 percent of those committing cybercrimes held technical positions as well as system administrator and/or privileged system access.
