Bagel updates head for infected desktops
A new security threat is coming--Bagel worm updates are headed to infected PCs. In an effort to defeat security protection measures, an offshore server is pumping out new Bagel editions every minute or so. Security vendor F-Secure is calling the update "SpamTool.Win32.Bagle.g" and describes it as a form of the 2004 Bagle.g virus that can turn an infected PC into a spam zombie. Fellow security vendor McAfee has deemed the Bagel the second top security threat taking place today.
