Assessing antispyware tools
All you likely hear about is how emerging new antispyware products will eradicate the threats, the worms, the Trojans and any other malicious activity attacking today's desktops and laptops. But not everyone believes in the vendor hype. Two researchers are investigating, through a new tool they've developed, whether antispyware products actually fulfill their promise. Their software creates a test bed environment so enterprises can really determine what the latest antispyware program is actually doing in terms of security.
