Apple laptop batteries recalled
As FierceCIO reported last week, those flammable batteries manufactured by Sony aren't only in Dell laptops. Sony has announced that the effected batteries are also powering Apple laptops, specifically, some iBook G4 and PowerBook G4 models and Apple has in turn announced that it is recalling 1.8 million of those batteries. Apple says that it's only heard of four actual combustion incidents and doesn't expect a huge financial backlash.
