Apple fixes a few Safari bugs

Safari update 3.1.1, which hit the tubes earlier this week, finds Apple addressing a few vulnerabilities in the cross-platform browser. Judging by the looks of it, the fixes address a number of nasty bugs that could leave your machine open to unexpected application termination, arbitrary code execution or a cross-site scripting attack. The update is being pushed out via Apple's Software Update applet and is also available from the company's website.
