Another laptop with confidential info stolen
In what's become a repeat offense when it comes to data theft, a laptop holding social security numbers and other confidential data of 13,000 District of Columbia staffers has been reported stolen. The device theft took place at the home of an ING U.S. Financial Services employee. The data was not encrypted and the laptop was not password-enabled.
