A mouse that roars--with features
Remember all the "oohs" and "aahs" heard around the enterprise when the optical mouse debuted? Well, one of the newest input devices on shelves puts those earlier rodents to shame. Logitech researchers spent two years designing its new MX Revolution which re-envisions the mouse as the command center for the desktop. Studying user needs and mouse use--for example, the average user finger-scrolls 26 documents daily--lead to a device that houses over 400 individual components. Not only does the device sense the users' intentions based on documents recently accessed, it can also zip through dozens of documents with the flick of a finger. Many of the device's innovative features are controlled through a free-spinning alloy scroll-wheel--an industry first. A VX model is also available, designed for mobile users.
