A collaborative effort to preserve digital data
Preserving data isn't as simple as it may seem, especially given the growing threat of unauthorized access and the cost of storing terabytes of data. That's why a slew of organizations within the federal and state IT environments are looking to partnerships to help determine what data is being created, what access requirements will be in the future and how best to protect and store it once it's archived. The collaborative movement is helping both federal and state CIOs deal with an issue that has to be met head-on today.
