A CIO role that melds tech and strategy
The job of a CIO is more than enough work and responsibility, but add on the title of vice president of strategy and the to-do list gets quite a bit longer. But as CIO Jeff Neville, who heads up IT at Eastern Mountain Sports, explains, his dual role is good for business given the increasing need for IT to be in every part of the company framework. In fact, one of the first things Neville did in his new role was realign IT job titles and functions to embed them within business operations.
