Seven sins of home office security

You are not alone. Many managers are grappling with the issue of giving workers the green light to work from home. Last year, more than 17 million Americans worked from home or remotely at least one day per month, according to the human resources association World at Work. Chances are you're facing pressure to let employees work from home, if you are not already.

  • Make sure a home office is physically secure.
  • Configure security smartly.
  • Make sure data is backed up.

Most importantly, make sure your workers separate their home office from their home; and separate their work world from their play world.
