5 steps to pulling strong talent
Pulling in and retaining top tech talent is a constant challenge for today's tech leaders. As one recruiting expert notes, IT expertise is the "differentiator" in "creating significant business advantage." But given the shrinking talent pool, the fact that techies are seeking better pay and the increasing demand for business-savvy professionals, finding and hiring needed experience isn't going to get any easier. However, there are five steps that CIOs and IT managers can take to get a step ahead of other enterprises. The first is re-assessing how you're hiring and re-thinking your hiring requirements. Then it's time to reach out and begin working with recruiters and your own HR department to make sure that good candidates aren't being stalled at the start of the hiring chain.
