Q2 2010 IT Market Earnings Roundup
For the most part, major IT vendors fared well this earnings season. Intel, Microsoft and Apple are just some of the companies reporting their highest quarterly revenue numbers ever.
According to a report from Bespoke Investment Group, the technology sector has a beat rate--the percentage of companies that have beaten earnings estimates thus far this reporting period--of around 76 percent. However, telecom only had a beat rate of 60 percent.
