At this point, after all of the months of hype surrounding Vista, most IT organizations have determined whether or not they're going to upgrade now or sometime down the road. Either way, there are more than a few issues you need to dig into to make deployment [1] successful. The first, as with any big system change, is good communication. Then you need to decide if you need any extra staff to help things go smoothly. Don't forget training and the ever-critical testing process, before flicking the switch to live.
