In the wake of one of the most embarrassing data losses in recent memory, the Veterans Affairs department is recalling each and every laptop that has been deployed throughout the federal agency. While they're collecting them, the agency's security folks are also revamping access to the agency network by changing VPN configurations on a regular basis, thereby prompting consistent laptop review. It's also rolling out new security education awareness efforts through its facilities.
