Voting Begins Today for Public To Pick the Republican Presidential Front Runner in ElectionCandidates.com’s First Election

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Voting begins today at ElectionCandidates.com for the public to pick their favorite among the current list of declared Republican Presidential candidates for 2012. The political social network’s first Election Poll opens at 5 a.m. (PDT), with polling ending at midnight (PDT) on Sunday, June 26.

ElectionCandidates.com’s first Election Poll in the race to 2012 will present only those candidates who have officially declared as of June 19, and it will list them alphabetically. Voting will be open to the public 24 hours a day until polling closes Sunday night.

The candidates listed in the Website’s first Election Poll will be Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Gary E. Johnson, Fred Karger, Andy Martin, Jimmy McMillan, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney, and Rick Santorum.

After the Election Poll closes, the top three candidates will be posted on the Website, and an announcement will be made to the media reporting the public’s choices. The top vote getter will be shown as the public’s number one choice.
