Teradici Appoints New Vice President of Business Development
Industry veteran, Bob Johnson, joins Teradici to drive strategic partnerships and accelerate PCoIP technology adoption
BURNABY, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Teradici, the developer of the innovative PC-over-IP® (PCoIP®) protocol that enables a true PC experience for desktop virtualization, today announced that Bob Johnson has joined the organization's leadership team as vice president of business development. A well-known technology executive, Johnson will be based in Silicon Valley and will be responsible for managing and establishing strategic partnerships with leading organizations in the workstation, virtual desktop and application publishing markets.

Johnson comes to Teradici with an impressive 25-year career in sales and business development that spans both emerging startups and public corporations. Most recently at IBM he led business development, strategic alliances and IP licensing efforts in the areas of virtualization, cloud storage/NAS, semiconductors, server/appliances and materials technology. Prior to IBM, Johnson was vice president of business development for Transitive, a leader in cross platform virtualization that was acquired by IBM. He has also held senior sales and business development roles at Cadence Design Systems and Hewlett Packard.
