Adrian Farley, CTO of California to Discuss New Initiatives for California

SACRAMENTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- In an era of budget deficit and cuts, how can the use of information technology change how government is run?

TechCoire is proud to welcome Adrian Farley, Chief Technology Officer for the state of California, who will present Transforming Public Service Through IT on Thursday, May 26, at the Sacramento Marriott Hotel.

Adrian Farley is the Chief Technology Officer of California and the Acting Director of the Office of Technology Services. Prior to his appointment as CTO, he served as the Chief Deputy Director for Policy and Program Management for the office of the Chief Information Officer. Farley has served as an advisor to numerous companies and organizations. He is a graduate of Pitzer College and attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

In Farley’s presentation, he will discuss:

Cloud Computing initiatives and how it will benefit the public
Cyber Security and Disaster Recovery in light of tsunamis and terror threats
Data center consolidation and why it matters
