Symplified and iRise Security Services Group Partner to Meet Demand for Cloud Identity and Access Management
iRise Security Consultants to Work with Symplified to Integrate Security at Application Development and Planning Phase
BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Symplified®, the Cloud security company, today announced a partnership with iRise’s Security Services group to address cloud security requirements. iRise security consultants and Symplified will work together to help organizations implement identity and access management (IAM) solutions at the application development and planning stage. As a trusted advisor, iRise consultants will refer Symplified to customers whose requirements demand cloud IAM capabilities.
According to Gartner, Inc., “IAM as a service will account for 20 percent of all new IAM sales by the end of 2012, compared with less than 5 percent in 2011.”1 Symplified provides comprehensive IAM capabilities as a cloud service that centralize access control, enforce security policies, provide single sign-on (SSO), and maintain a secure audit trail for compliance. iRise consultants will help their customers integrate Symplified into both their cloud and on-premises application ecosystems.
“We have extensive experience working with leading identity and access management vendors, however they lack the comprehensive, cloud-native security capabilities provided by Symplified,” said Scott Silver, Managing Director of Security Services at iRise. “This partnership enables us to work closely with Symplified to meet our customers security needs for single sign-on, all the way up through access control, provisioning, and auditing. The ability of Symplified to support any access device, including mobile platforms is a big plus.”
“Virtually every organization, in one shape or another, is incorporating cloud applications into their IT infrastructure, which introduces new identity and access management challenges that didn’t exist previously,” said Mike Corbisiero, vice president of worldwide sales for Symplified. “iRise’s security consultants possess a deep understanding of IAM technologies and implementation challenges. Their decision to partner with Symplified to solve their customers cloud security problems is a strong endorsement of our technology.”
