Butterfield will act as strategy coach and resource for company’s executive team

ALPINE, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SageCreek Partners (www.sagecreekpartners.com) today announced that Managing Partner Greg Butterfield has joined Allegiance Inc.’s Board of Directors to help develop the company’s ongoing strategy, grow its business and increase its revenues.

Allegiance, Inc. provides Voice-of-Customer-Intelligence (VOCi) and Enterprise Feedback Management (EFM) solutions that help organizations drive growth and increase profitability through improved customer and employee insight and retention.

Butterfield is the Managing Partner at Mentor Capital firm SageCreek Partners. Prior to founding SageCreek Partners, Butterfield was Group President of the Altiris and Server and Storage business units for Symantec. Butterfield joined Symantec through the company’s acquisition of Altiris in April 2007. At Altiris, he was chairman of the board, president and CEO, where he successfully increased revenue eight consecutive years from $3 million to more than $250 million. He also engineered 11 acquisitions, completed an IPO in 2002 and a secondary offering in 2003.

Butterfield was the winner of the 2002 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and served as the chairman of the board of the Utah Information Technology Association from 2003 to 2005. He received a Bachelor of Science in business administration, finance from Brigham Young University.
