ProfitLine Names Kip Quackenbush as Executive VP of Global Sales
Expansion of Executive Team Driven by High Demand for Managed TEM Services
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ProfitLine, a global provider of outsourced Telecom Expense and Mobility Management services, has named Kip Quackenbush as Executive Vice President of Global Sales. In this role, Kip will lead the company’s direct and partner sales activities to address the exploding telecom and mobility challenges faced by global enterprises and federal agencies.
The number and variety of mobile devices connected to today’s enterprise is growing rapidly, and is often unmonitored or unsupported. Most companies lack information about what’s connected to their network, and mobile users are losing productivity by working directly with carriers to manage essential business tools on their own. ProfitLine’s sensible, modular approach to Telecom Expense and Mobility Management allows clients to engage in the services and support they need immediately, and to adapt to the evolving needs of their business. As mobility takes front of mind priority for IT executives, the need to balance cost, employee satisfaction, and risk is essential. ProfitLine provides the people, processes and technology to support and enforce essential mobile and device policies consistently across the enterprise, resulting in an enhanced user experience as well as savings of several times service fees.
“Kip’s sales experience and connections will leverage our strong delivery reputation to help clients manage their telecom environments consistently and cost-effectively around the globe,” said Bruce Myers, ProfitLine CEO. “With Kip’s leadership, we’ll further accelerate our sales growth by continuing to stress the cost savings and enhanced user experience achieved by ProfitLine’s quality people, process, and technology.”
ProfitLine’s new sales executive brings a track record of success in driving high revenue growth. With over 20 years of experience in driving revenue for public and private companies in leading edge technologies and services sectors, Kip brings both large enterprise sales mastery as well as entrepreneurial spark to ProfitLine. Most recently, Kip was VP of Worldwide Sales at Red Condor and managed the transition of the sales team through the acquisition by EdgeWave. Before that, Kip was Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Akonix, where he grew the customer base from under 200 to over 2,000, which led to a successful acquisition by Quest Software. Kip also held the role of Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales at CommerceOne, the pioneer in e-procurement and e-marketplaces. He began his career at well-recognized market leaders such as Oracle, Digital Equipment Corporation and Pacific Bell.
