CareerBliss Begins Submission Process for Happiest Companies in America Awards

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CareerBliss, the leading online career community helping people find joy and success at every step in their careers, is taking nominations for the only awards that honor the top fifty companies in the United States designated by employees as the happiest places to work. Past honorees include companies such as Google, 3M, DTE Energy, and Qualcomm. This one-of-a-kind award, determined by employees who review their companies, recognizes 11 factors that contribute to employee happiness. The CareerBliss Happiest Companies in America 2012 will honor the elite companies with the happiest employees and dedication to fostering a superior work environment.

Each year CareerBliss analyzes hundreds of thousands of employee reviews and examines the key factors that influence employee happiness at work, including: the person they work for, the people they work with, their office environment, the support they get, the rewards they receive, growth opportunities, their company culture, the work they do, the way they work, their direct manager and their CEO. Each company is given a Bliss Rating - which represents an overall happiness score assigned by employees in their company review. Despite thousands of nominees, only fifty companies will make the CareerBliss’ Happiest Companies in America Awards for 2012.
