NextIO also announces updates to vCORE Extreme GPU to include M2090 GPU

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NextIO, the pioneer in rack-level I/O consolidation and virtualization solutions, today announced the release and general availability of its vCORE Express 2075 GPU consolidation appliance. The vCORE Express 2075 is a 1U/GPU appliance that utilizes the NVIDIA M2075 GPU, and is the successor to the vCORE Express 2070 GPU consolidation appliance.

Based on the original Fermi chip design, new features of vCORE Express 2075 GPU include:

• More detailed ECC reporting: Reporting capabilities include details on DRAM, register files and L1/L2 caches.
• Significant performance improvements: Memory performance is increased anywhere from 5 to 20 percent with ECC enablement.
• Less power requirements: Compared with vCORE Express 2070, the 2075 requires 10 percent less power.

NextIO also announced today updates to its vCORE Extreme GPU computing system to include the latest NVIDIA M2090 GPU. The vCORE Extreme is a datacenter class GPU consolidation product was specifically designed to maximize density for the Tesla M-Class GPUs. The vCORE Extreme supports up to sixteen M2090 GPUs in a 3U platform.
