Version 9.3 of Remote Access VPN Software Also Supports Windows 7’s Mobile Broadband Interface

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- NCP engineering today announced the availability of a new version of its centrally managed enterprise IPsec VPN client suite compatible with Windows 32-/64-bit operating systems, which ensures secure seamless roaming for mobile workers when used in conjunction with the NCP Secure Enterprise VPN Server.

Version 9.3 allows devices to automatically change between 3G/4G, Wi-Fi and LAN networks, for example, and dynamically redirects the VPN tunnel without interrupting mobile computing sessions. The NCP Secure Enterprise Client automatically recognizes secure and insecure networks to connect to while roaming, and with its Friendly Net Detection feature, the IPsec VPN client activates the appropriate firewall and security policies without the end user needing to do anything.

Furthermore, NCP's latest enterprise VPN client supports Windows 7's mobile broadband interface. This removes LTE data communication bottlenecks for any implementation based on the virtual COM ports. Because of the mobile broadband support, the IPsec VPN software supports all current and future 3G/4G cards under Windows 7, significantly facilitating mobile computing.
